When Tim started at the agency, a computer disc was the size of a dinner plate and it took thirteen of them to back up the system. He started as a claims representative and quickly assumed responsibility for the accounting department of the agency. He later shared responsibility in management. Since 1999, Tim has served as president of the Sausman Insurance Agency.
Tim and Jodie (Sausman) live near East Salem. Their son Ross resides in Charleston SC and their daughter Arielle is pursing her DPT degree in the Allentown area. Besides being actively involved in their church, Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, you may find them cooking up a feast for friends and family on Tim’s smoker grills, frequenting antique shops, and occasionally getting away for a quite weekend at a bed and breakfast.
Tim’s professional goal was derived from John Maxwell’s book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, the law of the lid; personal and organizational effectiveness is proportionate to the strength of leadership.
