Make sure to come out and support the Juniata Co CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 5 in Mifflintown. The walk starts at 1 p.m., and is not only a fun event, but also helps people in need in the local community. The event is sponsored by Church World Service and is organized by religious groups, schools, and businesses with the sole purpose of raising funds to help end hunger throughout the U.S. and around the world.

The 38th Annual Juniata Mennonite School Sale happening on October 3rd and 4th at the McAlisterville Community Park and the McAlisterville Fire Hall. The first day of the event will feature delicious BBQ chicken meals along with an auction of crafts and many other items. All the fun continues the second day with another auction as well as different vendors and fun activities for the kids.

You will not want to miss the Port Royal Foliage Days on October 18th and 19th. The two day event will take place at the Juniata County Fairgrounds in Port Royal. The exciting show features a large craft market with hundreds of different vendors selling their handmade goods. Saturday also features a parade that is sure to be the best one yet. On Sunday there is an exciting car and motorcycle show that everyone will enjoy.
